Getting There by Air
The majority of services by air are holiday charter flights from Europe, though scheduled international flights are also available from the UK and internal flights from Spanish mainland cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.
The Spanish national airline is Iberia (IB) (www.iberia.com). Based on the Balearic island of Mallorca (Majorca), Spanair (JK) (www.spanair.com) is a scheduled carrier offering services to Spain and the rest of Europe.

Main Airports
Ibiza (IBZ) is located 7.5km (5 miles) southwest of Ibiza Town (www.ibizaairport.co.uk). To/from the airport: There is an hourly bus service throughout the day and well into the night during the peak season between the airport and the centre of Ibiza Town (journey time is around 30 minutes). Journey times to other destinations on the island are no longer than one hour by taxi or hire car, whose suppliers are well represented in the arrivals hall as are airport and tourist information desks. Facilities: Duty-free shop, bank/bureau de change, bars, cafes, car hire, tourist information and post office.
Getting There by Water
Main ports: San Antonio and Ibiza Town. Services operate to the Spanish mainland ports of Valencia, Barcelona and Denia (located between Alicante and Valencia). Journey time from Denia, the closest mainland port is 2 hours and 15 minutes to Ibiza Town by hydrofoil and 4 hours 30 minutes to San Antonio by car ferry.
